From the installation instructions:
"The Catch Can has a drain on the bottom of the can in which you can undo one nut/bolt combo, lift up the can, place a cup underneath, drain, close and reinstall. The brass fitting with the screw on cap to
the underside of the catch can is already installed with teflon paste. No Teflon is to be used for the cap. Finger tight is perfect and the
rubber seal inside the cap will work great for us. "
So it looks like the teflon coating is supposed to be on the gasket, though I don't see anything. Maybe rob can comment on this.
Also, does anyone know the proper orientation of the venturi 3 way connection that goes into the throttle body? I didn't bother to look which way it came out and the pictures are blurry. I took a side view picture of it (see attachment). Does the long(er) end go toward the front or rear of the vehicle?
