the TPM light being on is likely to someone cross rotating the tires or having one repaired, it is as simple as going to the dealer and having them reset the program. Most dealers may not even charge you!!!!! worst thing is what Andrew said - replace it...as far as Color - I have both ( neither one is any harder to keep clean than the other ). you said you have been on this sight a while, so look for the things like valve covers leaking and things of that nature......
