Yes I use a digital recorder that uses SD cards and has motion sensing software which works with any camera. £30 for a camera, £75 for the recorder and I can get around 1-2 weeks motion sensing recording, which is around 1,000 x 10 second clips on a 2GByte SD card !! Combined with an infra red triggered security light and all covered. Only disadvantage no sound recording.
