Default AAA boned me, Tie rod issue!

Hello everyone, long time since I have been on here. However, its getting warm in georgia and its time for the Crossfire to come out of hibernation.

Couple of years ago I blew a tire and AAA towed me to nearest mechanic..when I get back in the car I am going straight but my steering wheel is all the way to the left.

I went back to the mechanic, said my tie rod was bent and even looking at it you could tell. AAA replaced it for free but used a junk part. When I was getting the car inspected and new fluids a couple of months ago mechanic noticed it and said I need new assembly. They quoted me 1400 with parts and labor. Seems ridiculous to me.

I found two different sellers
here: Chrysler Crossfire Transverse Center Drag Link Tie Rods - eBay (item 120695242266 end time Apr-07-11 10:42:41 PDT)

and here for 424
ChryslerPartsDirect.Com
tem Number MSRP Core Price Price 5098996AA $544.00 $0.00 $424.32 Steering - Steering gear & linkage - Linkage
Linkage, crossfire - power 2004 - 2008
What do you guys think? The ebay route is much cheaper but is that the whole assembly and all I would need?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The ebay seller part may be a Chinese replication and I don't want to get a crappy part..wondering if anyone has purchased from them before?
Also, if I can find an SLK320 tie rod assembly would it fit?
