I have not heard of a single person with a properly installed crank slip the keyway. Plenty of people have been running the 185mm pulley for years including tracking the car. I would include myself in this list.

Also have you seen the way the hand build engines are made? They have a machine that cranks the bolts down to the proper specs at a single time.

Don't get me wrong no one wants to blow an engine but let's not make the handbuilt aspect of the engine into something magic.
