the proper way to install the crank pulley requires a large torque wrench and a dial gage. you torque the NEW bolt to a specified torque then 90* more. the flywheel must be locked to prevent the crank from moving . if your mechanic isnt familiar with the proper procedure he shouldnt be messing with your car. if he is using an impact wrench you are inviting disaster. think what will happen when the pulley shears off the end of the crank at 100mph+ at the track. not a pretty sight
