Infrared? Never! I went and bought a Longacre memory probe pyrometer. I couldn't make heads or tails of the results before. With the wide rims and properly supported tires it's really obvious. Would anyone be interested in a picture of the tire wear after 1 event? Looking at the rear tires you can tell I have too much negative camber ..... but since when is -1º a lot? That's why I now believe that 1" of compression on an un lowered car results in a moderate increase in negative camber but 1" on compression on a lowered car results in drastic negative camber increase. I can think of no other explanation.
