I'm in my 3rd year at BSU and only have 4 more until I graduate with a Pharm. D. If I gamble on something like this I could blow my finances for the rest of my education. I have no back up plan, I have to graduate. I'm waiting till after I earn my degree to do anything crazy under the hood. In four years you might see a ten second crossfire sitting in my garage. On the other hand, you might see a broke college dropout with way too much debt begging for a job in chemical research. Nobody can predict the future.

It sounds like you have the time and the finances to achieve this. Go for it and don't let somebody on a forum stop you from sharing your experiences. I know the MB 3.2 can make the power, somebody just has to turn the wrench and get the job done.
Thank you for this post . That is the info I was looking for (pricing ideas for used parts, etc). It also shows you are another one who DOES know what they are talking about and has seen it done.

Anyway, don't risk your education, my wife just finished Albany College of Pharmacy herself, she had some "bumps" along the way, but it was well worth it. 23 years old, right out of school- $18,400 sign on and $106k a year at a local chain pharmacy (don't want to mention names and have it be "discussing salary" and get her in trouble or something lol). And she isn't even a Pharm. D! Hers was the last year before it became mandatory. Just keep plugging along and get through it. Good luck with it!

Also, if you can point me in the direction of where to find some used items (any MB specific recyclers out there?), I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Joe

PS- Oh yeah, for those who asked, I live in Milford, PA now.
