The wheel lock-to-lock trick is to get the BAS/ESP light to go off after a dyno or any other time you've removed Fuse 17/18. When you have those fuses removed I believe you have completely disabled the ESP system therefore the sensors that detect when your tires have lost traction are not functioning. These sensors being tripped by a loss of traction are what I believe causes the TC light to flicker or come on.

I think you are good to go as soon as you re-install fuse 17/18.
