From what the dealership is telling me is that the keyway is a small half moon shape key that slides into the front of the crank in which the top part goes into the pulley. And what happened was since my machanic didnt torque the pulley properly it sheered of the top of the moon shaped keyway. so now the dealer has to go in and get the rest of the keyway out and put the new one in
