I would go with slotted or slotted/dimpled... not cross drilled for daily use....

I put Xbrake slotted/drilled rotors on my Intrepid just to try them out and with the kevlar titanium pads they growled when I used the brakes firmly.... when the KT's wore out I put ceramic pads on and that pretty much stopped the growling..... but not completely... they stop wonderfully though...

The Aero has C32 drilled/slotted rotors and calipers in front and DiskItalia slotted rotors in back.
