Look up on the left top side of forum page ....Click on USERCP
Then below "Settings & Options" click on EDIT AVATAR
Highlight the button beside USE CUSTOM AVATAR
You will either have to enter a url address of an avatar you have chosen from an avatar website or you can upload one from your computer.
May take a few tries but you'll get it.
