Agreed, but the problem he is having is not so much a "problem" a lot of manufacturers have "free rev" rev limits built into their cars mainly to prevent engine/driveline damage. If they didn't have that, people would be braking things left and right and expecting DC to pick up the tab. You would also get people not knowing any better and getting in accidents- then suing DC for not having it limited so the stupid people "can't lose control on take off". The BS they go through in the auto industry is ridiculous. I know the last example was far fetched- it was meant to be semi- sarcastic (although I wouldn't put it past someone), it is mainly for drivetrain protection.
