Your tires may be hitting the fender liner or the inner fender. This can happen in tight turns. If you pull a wheel and look inside the wheel well you can see where it is hitting. If on the plastic fender liner, you will see some rough marks from the edge of the tire contacting the plastic. On the inner fender you will possibly see some shinny metal where the wheel has rubbed the paint off. These are considered friendly surfaces since they do not actually damage the tires.
