take a look at one of my posts and the photos in my gallery. I had the same problem after doing some suspension work. wasn't damaging, just annoying. Oddly enough, after I replaced my OEM Continental tires with Toyo S1-R's the rubbing stopped. I can only assume the Toyo's are slightly smaller.

I'll bet you will see a small patch on the forward, inboard side of your wheel well on the drivers side, about the diameter of a 50 cent piece.
