I like where you are going. Had I kept my car I was gonna do that. Look forward to seeing it when it finished. I couldn't make up my mind about the Mercedes emblem. I took of the lettering and painted it a textured black paint.
I also did the plastic cowel and the metal crossmember by the radiator in a really cool textured flex paint. It was inexpensive just very time consuming, lots of taping.
