Go to the" search" , put in "Throttle reset". It will come up and tell you how to do it. The throttle is a wire connection not an actual cable like used to be on cars. the Throttle reset lets you set up a new profile of driving characteristics for you, how you drive. I think that you have something else wrong. Maybe an exhaust gas recirc valve plugged up or dirty. Maybe a vac. leak. Doing a " Throttle reset" won't hurt anything,but it won't fix what is not broke or vice versa. Try it, it only takes a few minutes. You do need to go drive it for a while kind of aggressive to build a new profile of driving habits for the computer.
