Re: Audi Owner making a switch?
Livevil,
There's an article i think from road and track that tested both the audi tt 225 and the Xfire limited 6spd. let me see if i find the link.
As a current audi owner and audi fanatic, i can tell you that you won't be disappointed with this car. It doesn't have the power of my old S4 but it will surprise you though, because 215 hp and 229 torque seem low in the performance/touring car segment but it feels more powerful than the numbers state.
The handling is to me way better than a TT with Quattro, that's my opinion of driving both cars extensively.
The top end acceleration is amazing with a car having 215 bhp.
I have an auto. however, i used to own a 6 spd and its a clunky gearbox that you can't seem to shift quickly even if you want to. And since Mercedes gearboxes both auto and manual give you almost identical acceleration times, i opted to get the auto as part of a lemon replacement.
To give you a 0-60 mph time idea of my auto. I got 6.34 1st time and 6.39 second time.
The Navigation option in my car is not the best NAV out there. It came with mine so, I didn't complain but its very archaic in its functions and difficult to use. But once you get the hang of it, its a pretty accurate system. I would say if it comes with it take it, but if it doesn't, its not something to cry for.
