I'm getting ready to install the rotors and calipers from a 2005 SRT6 on the front of my 2006 LTD Roadster. I'm also installing new Ceramic pads all around and putting rebuild kits in the front calipers. My question is : are there any tricks to doing this install. I was wondering about the " Wear indicators" , ABS, anti skid electronics, wires and how they connect to the pads or calipers. I seem to remember someone telling me that I had to drill a hole in the pad for the wire to attach. Are there any other wires to attach? I will also be replacing the flex brake lines with braided SS and flushing the fluid out. I've already painted the front calipers and will still have to paint the rear calipers. Just want to know any problems and/ or tricks to make this go smoothly. As some of you may experience, DIY can be perplexing. My 30 minute projects only take 3-4 days to finish. I always run into some kind of problem. I'm in Houston and also wondered if anyone in the area had done this mod before and might have some time to offer some assitance and/ or advice on doing this.
