05 limited roadster- Plenty of bass from doors and tone controls working but little sound from rear speakers. I have to place my head behind each seat to hear the rear speakers while door speakers are at medium output. I read the 220uf door filter thread and have some ordered. I am preparing for the possibility that filtering the bass from the door will leave me with almost no bass at all.

Is the low rear speaker volume normal or do I have a possible amp problem?
Does the capacitor increase bass from rear speakers by only allowing the radio output to be increased?
Rear speakers appear powered. How is the total system power (240w) distributed?
