Low frequency response is equal in frequency and slightly higher in volume.

Conclusions.
I do not believe that adding filter to door speakers increases the power to or output from the rear woofers but the increase in loudness is due to the reduction in phase cancellation. If phase cancellation is an issue, wouldn't you think the engineers would have addressed it.

Here where I need advice. Since the woofer peaks at 110-120 is this technically the frequency for the filter?
Is there any gain to be had by using a 12db crossover/filter on the door speakers?
The stock Infinity amp is a 6 channel amp. It produces 6 x 22 Watts at 4 ohm.
It has a primitive built in processor and a x-over for the subs.

2 channels go to the door mid woofers and tweeters.
The tweeters have little capacitors to prevent them from low frequencies.

4 channels go to the 2 subs, which are double coil speakers.
Don't expect too much. They are just 6.5". But they are not too bad.

Concerning the cap solution, please take a look at this:

If you only use a cap for a volume lowering this will cause distortion at higher volume levels, because of impedance peaks.
The caps won't incerase the volume of the subs. They decrease the volume at a defined frequency.
