Default Re: graphite roadster srt-6

I think an all one color car can be impressive looking as well as stand out amonst it's peers. First of all it's your baby and you've got to feed it and dress it, so do it the way you want to.
Speaking from experience, it's not the cost ($75.00 per wheel) as it is getting the paint to match. I custom colored my Alabastar Coupe with Shimrin SNOW WHITE PEARL, code P-44 and afterwards decided to have my SRT6 wheels powder coated to match the car.
Unfortuneatly the mix came off a shade a little whiter than I had hoped, but depending on the angle of the sun and the pearlesence in the paint it can almost be inperceptable. I am overall satisfied, but hindsight I probably should have shopped around a little more. It was more work than I had anticipated in that I put the car on jack stands in my garage without wheels for two weeks while having the tires removed and then the powder choice being made and ordered from Oregon. You really don't know 'till you put them on the car, which again was my fault for not mounting the wheels sans tires. The color could have been darkened some by baking a little longer (@400 deg F), but then who wants burned wheels?
I will just wait to see how they age. Would I do it over again? YES! but being more prudent with the powder.
