Not that I would ever drive over the speed limit (ha) but on a recent cruise down a 4lane divided road (musta been in some other state)... I was cruisin' at about 70 and punched it.... was doing 125 in "poof" time! Throttled back down quickly, but was VERY impressed with higher speed accelerating ability.... performance at upper end is much better than My Prowler.
I always wondered what a drag race between the two would yeild. The Prowler feels more ballsy around town, but I figured the X-fire would maul it on the highway.
