Be sure your oil filter is the synthetic/fleece and not the run-of-the-mill paper filter. Both my seat heater bottoms don't work, but I hardly drive it in the cold weather so it is not a priority. But if I were to make the repair, I would consider an aftermarket heater, seems the OEM will fail again and again.
