I am with the group leaning towards the SKREEM module at the likely cause.... if you can pull a fuse and disable it, as mentioned, I would do that and see what happens. If it shuts off and everything else works okay, find a new module and replace it... MMZ_Timelord's write up on how to change the dash light color should get you access to the SKREEM module....
According to the service manual, page 8Q-57, " Remove the instrument cluster to gain access to
the SKREEM module. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/INSTRUMENT CLUSTER - REMOVAL)."

The Service Manual also shows the fuse for the SKREEM module is in underhood fuse block, 15A, #35.
