Yes, the 300C 5.7l is a HEMI. Great car. Large limousine but quick, fast and agile! I'm always impressed. WST you're right, when not needed 4 cylinders stop working in order to save fuel. The other 4 are enough for cruising. I never notice the moment when they stop/start working.
For the Crossfire as far as I know there aren't any HEMI available, yet. If you need a larger engine check STARTECH.de they offer a 6.1l V8 for Crossfire. But might cost a fortune. Their '04 Crossfire 3.8l S with 22,000 km costs EUR 65k. Almost twice the price of a new one.
