I still havent found the problem. I called the dealer to inquire about getting new brakepads and having the rotars turned down but they refused to turn them since i have 100k miles. They said i have to buy new rotars ($75 each). Thats pretty rediculous imo, they havent been turned down before.
Are there any directions on installing that driveshaft bearing?
I think first ill put on new brakepads myself and go from there. Something has to be done, the thumping is driving me nuts and im not enjoying the ride anymore.
BTW everything is stock on the car, its an 04.

Any update on things from your end.
I would have a hard time believing my rythmic sound isn't the tires but I haven't checked anything out yet either. There's now issues with shifting, no lag or clunk, no wobbles or rough ride, nothing to indicate any issues other than noise. Reading other threads, given the width of these tires, the type of tire, etc --- it seems it just may be that they are noisey.
