3-5 p.m. Chrysler advised me today that, unfortunately, the Crossfire concept car WILL NOT be available at the Chrysler Museum. I'll leave this time slot in place for those who still want to visit the musem or do a group shot in the circular drive in front of the museum. I will be there handing out parking passes for Sat. If you are touring the museum, get the 2 for 1 kewp here: Walter P. Chrysler Museum
5-6 p.m. Massive taligating in our hotel parking lot!!
6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Dinner at The Post (approx 2 miles from hotel)The Post Bar :: Auburn Hills, Detroit, Ferndale, Novi We have the entire 2nd floor reserved and Crossfire group parking is in the restaurant lot.
7:30 - 11:00 p.m. Car show and outdoor movie at the Chrysler Museum $10 admission. Note: If you plan to attend, reserve your spot here:
Walter P. Chrysler Museum Attendance is limited to the first 125 people. The director of the movie will be there for questions/autographs and she will be displaying the car featured in the movie. DEUCE OF SPADES, a period hot rod film. Bring a blanket or lawn chair if you plan on attending. Out of towners - PM me if you need me to bring blanket/chairs for you.
Option B - If you choose not to attend the movie, Plan B includes cruising Woodward or tailgating in the hotel parking lot from 7:30 p.m. until 8:29 a.m. Sat.

SATURDAY:
8:30 A.M. Depart for display area, which is the same location as last year (13 Mile west of Woodward) and will again be shared with the Prowler group. Be sure to get a parking pass from me Fri or Sat a.m. - No one will be allowed into the display area without a pass. No exceptions.
9:00 a.m - 6:00 p.m. Enjoy the Cruise, lunch on your own.
6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Dinner at Brady's Tavern 13 Mile & Southfield (approx 1.5 miles from display area) Welcome to Brady's. We have the entire back room and group parking in a lot adjacent to and north of the tavern. Crossfire Program Manager, Scott Wilkins, will address the group here. After dinner, cruise Woodward one last time (it closes at 9) and back to the hotel parking lot.

SUNDAY
Breakfast and departure. The Western Michigan Crossfire Tour Group will depart with the Chicago contingency, break off somewhere around Indiana and then enjoy a 3-4 day tour of Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City wineries, etc...

Housekeeping Issues:
  • Dinner reservations - Need 'em by tomorrow p.m. This is the busiest bar night ($$$) of the year for restaurants in close proximity to Woodward, so the owners I'm working with want an accurate headcount. This is not difficult folks - Please let me know.
  • If you have handheld radios, bring 'em (with spare batteries)
  • Booze - No public alcohol consumption is allowed at the Dream Cruise. Polizia ticket heavily and the fines generally run around $200. Your call.
  • If you are a music fan, the following groups are performing this weekend at venues within minutes of the hotel: J. Geils Band, Maroon 5/Train, Dweezil Zappa, Lil Wayne and George Thorogood.
PM me with any comments, questions concerns.
Weather is supposed to be lower to mid 80's & Sunny Fri & Sat.
