My car is in getting the fan motor replaced (actually that was done a week ago, but they can't get a vibration identified, so it is still there).

The fan motor sounded like it came unbolted from the mounts or something when it went out. I rattled for 2 seconds and bam....stopped. You could hear it trying to spin, but was jammed. It gets really cold in the car at 7* with the windows open so the windshield stays clear.

The tech never looked at it, just took the whole unit out and put another one in. Took a week to get the part......
