you can put the star on it...but it is not a Mercedes. It has AMG driveline, and Karmann built, so where does the Mercedes people come in? Am I missing something? Every car builder today buy parts from vendors, vendors that make parts for all makes and models...and the end product finally get a badge of somekind, Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, etc....I don't mind showing a little AMG pride, but I don't get the MB connection I guess. Now MB's SLK's with that AMG drivetrain, I get that....lol And, I like that...but, not built by Karmann from what I understand.
