My Chrysler Crossfire '05 N/A Limited uses MB sourced mechanicals and electrical systems. Karmann built it along with the MB CLK convert. and the Audi A4. The Crossfire was not built BY Chrysler but FOR Chrysler. Daimler was pulling all the strings back then. From what I've read (ALLPAR.COM
), Chrysler wanted to build the Crossfire in the plant that the Prowler was made at but Daimler insisted on using MB parts and outsourcing the build to Germany.

I still wouldn't put the MB star on it though. Now a Karmann badge would look cool!
