Plus three (maybe four) oil changes, two spark plug changes, new alternator, IC pump. Parts alone on the listed above are probably near $800...not including install costs for the alternator/IC pump. However, I wouldn't trade that for anything. The car is well worth it.
...that doesn't even include the price for the modifications
I'm about to spend a good bit of $$$$ getting the 35k mile tune up. Plugs, oil, filter, all fluids. etc. It is about time to change the transmission fluid. Then it will be good for the rest of the life of the car.
You shouldnt be changing your spark plugs at 35k. Thats something you do at 100k. Also 800 bucks on tires in 2 years? What kind of tires are you getting? A set of 4 Michellins cost me $1400.
Maybe ive had bad luck, but ive had engine oil leaking problems, bent rims, about 10 tires with nails, the TPMS system i just disabled because everytime I pop a tire, they ruin the sensor changing the tire out. Cupholder is stuck up, broken mirror switch, the AC fans speed up and slow down as they please, many headlights that burn out after a month or so (and no i dont touch them with my bare hands).
So all in all, ive had so many expense with this car, i could never recommend it to someone. Not to mention Carmax offers me $5k, and no one wants to buy it private-party for $7.5k. Its excellent condition and 99k miles, garaged and detailed meticulously. The whole Chrysler name just ruins the value of this car.
