OK - so I finally got the new Key FOB I orderd from ebay Folding FLIP Remote KEY CASE Mercedes-Benz 4 Buttons - eBay (item 160518978310 end time Apr-12-11 07:28:28 PDT)

& swapped out the Guts form my old one that had a worn out panic button.

Although this FOB does work it takes a couple hours of Pain in the butt modifications so if you just want a quick swap don't buy this one, try one that is already the exact match.

I will elaborate on the modifications you will need to do if you do purchase this 4 button unit off of ebay. By the way the 4th button for opening hte trunk is not on our crcuit board so nothing happens when you push that button.

First are a couple of pictures of the actual Key FOB I received in the mail about 3 weeks after ordering it. Our key is the typ "A" version if you are actually getting a new key cut make sure you order that one. A has a square end and B has a point.

I did not have the special pliers on hand so I just used needle nose plyers but there was so much epoxy that it deid break the shell of the old FOB and when it let loose the parts flew all over (lucklie I found them all and no damage).
