I'd say the worst maintenance issue dollar wise would be tires. 18 and 19" tires are not cheap, especially reputable brand with a performance focus. Otherwise, mine has been pretty good up to 33k miles...couple of burnt out lights here and there are cheap easy fixes. On the oil change front, because the vehicle only needs it every 7500 miles it equals out to the same as a normal car needing a change every 3000 miles. YMMV.
