Default Re: Help - Cutting Springs

i have done n/a , amg and srt-6 springs. cut or not theres a tremendous amount of tension on these springs when compressed.the lower control arm doesn't go back in straight . the slightest change in the placement of the floor jack moves the control arm out of place and the bolts wont align.
you are more than welcome to try any # of ways to do this. remember if your arm gets in the way when the springs shoots out it will break it in half. the compressor is a safety tool as well as a mechanical tool.

btw did you consider renting the tool from a member? possibly somebody close to you has the tool already
