Spud, that is not always true... I got hit by a camera in Germany and saw the flash of the light when it took my picture...(good full front view) .... all the cameras I see out here have those nice lights that go off so they make sure to get a good pic.... kind of hard to miss..

The best insurance is to pay attention to your surroundings and drive sensibly... and yes, I use a V1. But mostly just on the highway. In town I dont need it.
