I had placed 4 of the fans on my heat exchanger without any gain that I could see. This is when I designed the super cooler radiator and all the testing and videos showing it testing.
If you are in a race situation, you can speed up the fan by shunting the thermal thermistor for the engine to speed the fan up while sitting. THis additional resistor makes the computer think that the motor is hot, and speeds up the stock fan to cool it. JUST before the car is to be run the resistor is switched off and the fan slows down to normal and the engine timing is returned to normal.
I had used about 600 ohm 1/2 resistor in parallel with the engine temp sensor on a switched cable controllable from inside the car. Just saying , this is a $1.00 type of in line cooling tip that cools the engine and radiator for the supercooler or stock cooler.
Please insulate the connections carefully to protect you car and computer from a dumb short circuit.
Enjoy, Woody
