This probably sounds like a sort of goofy 'blonde' reply. But this is a true story: 2008 XFire still under warranty -no power- called for service. The service guy could not get power to the battery with his battery pac. Nothing! I am beside myself - new owner, no power, no answers. Dealship is clueless. Turns out HE(contract individual) had not done something correctly, and called his mgr. Long conversation with mgr. He gave the correct instructions, and - connection made. Power to vehicle, and it was the ol' 'trunk is not closed securely' battery drain. OK - lesson learned!
I am happy to say that the roadster trunk in now ***always*** securely closed, and I learned that 'no power' does not always mean the XFire is the culprit.
