I was under the impression it was $6.00 per U.S. gallon, which, if I remember correctly is about 2.5 litres. $6.00 per litre seems high even for Europe, but it has been a few years since we lived in Germany and Italy. Please correct me if I am wrong. I just filled up last night at $3.29 for premium and noticed this morning it had dropped to $3.19.
