somewhere in the deep, dark past, I spoke at length about this. AS I RECALL there are only 6 threads in the hub. if you have 7 or 8 showing inside the wheel, you're golden. If you see more, they will have to go. It will not bottom out. there is no bottom. But, as you know, there is an e-brake system.
