If you follow the instructions in the manual you should have no problem. Some openers like ours here in Canada operate on a"'rolling code" and you would follow a different Homelink programming procedure than those in the U.S. but this procedure is covered in the Owners manual.
You just need to find out if your door opener receives a "rolling code" and proceed from there.
