It is the molding around the latch on the door that operates the door ajar switch by pushing it in, not a screw.
With this molding off, as when the door panel is removed, the switch is not activated, the interior lights will switch off when the timing for them activates to save the battery.
Green-ghost, do you have the same layout as shown in my photo, or are more or less wires visible?
