"Gomer" a few.....I can see you doin' that too....I agree on matter of helping these young vets coming home today. Several are now in our ranks of law enforcement , and some are just starting to buy homes. Anytime I can help them, I do, as well as the local legion post, who track most vets in our area. But one thing is for certain, just standing and saluting that flag, also means you are saluting them, past and present. I thank a vet when I meet them, and just the other day, a bought drinks for a few at a bar in the airport...and they thank'd me on my way out. Respect goes a long way, even if we are of different political parties. My USAF career was cut short in '75, but that never mattered to me...I serve in other ways today.
