When I would crank the car, the spoiler would deploy and retract. Turned out to be a weak battery. Replaced battery and solved the problem. Recently, the spoiler would deploy and retract and then redeploy. Took it to the dealer for diagnosis. The sensor on the spoiler motor had failed. It seems you cannot buy a new sensor but must replace the motor. Had that done last week and spent a whopping $440.00, parts & labor.
