Thank for your replys guys its such a PITA.

I'll try using WD-40 and some sort of hook and hopefully make the job easier. If not I'll just do what mopar did cut and get new ones!

Now I know why there was a nasty mark on my rear end above the exhaust tips after it was at the exhaust shop they must have had a real hard time.
