Speed sensitive wipers? You mean the feature where the wipers go from constant to intermittent at a stop? That's all I have on my car.
With regard to your comment about "having more", I agree 100%. My 2006 GTI had a TON more features than my GTI, despite a $13k difference in the sticker price. Then again, the transaction price came down to only about a $2k difference between the two.
But please don't forget that the Crossfire is very heavily based on a production car that came out in what, 1997? Just having heated seats was a big deal back then. Updating the cars to more modern specs would have cost MB money, of which spending any money on Chrysler was simply too much for the Germans. As it was, I bet the MB made out like bandets on the crossfire--95% of the development/engineering was already done. Having said that, IMO, what MB skimped out on with regard to features was more than made up by the overall quality of the finished product. Until I sat in the 2012 300c (which I have a massive crush on), there wasn't another chrysler-branded vehicle I would have remotely considered due to build quality.
