You have to dig around a bit to find the sales numbers (DC will provide little or no information on planned production numbers). But since Crossfires built to date have been numbered sequentially, and because VINs are into the 60,000+ range, it is safe to say that number has been produced for worldwide sales.
Here's concrete data I've pieced together from various reports:
Crossfire (all variations and model years) U.S. sales
2003 - 4,021
2004 - 14,979
2005 (through Aug) - 10,276
Total - 29,276
2004 worldwide (including U.S.) Crossfire sales - 22,680
One question that has been asked before is what percentage of Crossfires are destined for the U.S. I was under the impression that it was around 80%. But doing the math for 2004, 66% of all Crossfire sales were in the U.S. So if around 30K have been sold in the U.S. to date, and a little more than 60K have been produced, there should be at least 10K Crossfires in the U.S. awaiting a new home.
