Food for thought from some of us on dial up... posting a 3072x2048 pixel picture and other large files to be viewed on a computer screen is big time "overkill". 1280x960 or better yet... 640x480 would be better as it will load alot quicker. Also, a large file makes the whole thread slower to load.

The "only" advantage derived from a large file photo is when "printing" it. A large file pic "does not" improve the veiwing quality when viewed on a computer screen (there are only so many pixels on a screen)... it just a pain in the a** to load, and less people will take the time for your pic to load. Load fast...good load slow... bad This is one instance where size does not matter... :wink: you just need a good camera.

I invite you to look at the photos in my album... most are only 500x384 pixels and load fast, even for dial up.

If someone is interested in your photo, just send them a PM with the high resolutiom version.
