I was cleaning the cars today, getting ready for a car show, when I discovered the pedal cover had come lose. It had slid up and was hitting the side of the console. I get in and drive, never looking down...and have been concerned for sometime the roadster wasn't running up to snuff. Never gave it a thought it might be the throttle pedal, but it was. When it slid up, it would keep the pedal from hitting the go button, not getting full throttle, and in fact was bending the metal part of the throttle cover. The metal you see on the throttle isn't attached to the hard plastic pedal. It is mounted in rubber and slid over the hard plastic pedal. You might want to take a look at yours...I took mine apart, repaired it, and put it back in. Car is fine, driver needs work...
