Also I have 10" Alpine R in the trunk on a 1000w Kenwood Monoblock D amp bypassing stock amp for now if that matters.
The stock amp is a 6 channel digital amp.
Each channel produces 22 watt rms.
The subwoofers in the rear get 4 x 22 watt rms. The subs are double coil speakers.
The front system gets 22 watt rms.
The stock amp has an simple integrated processor. If you want to replace it you have to mention that.
If you use the alpine / jl speakers with a passive crossover there is no need for an additional amp.
If you want to run the system full active and if you have a hu that supports that you can use use the internal amps of the hu to run the system full active, or use it for a bi-wiring passive x-over solution.
It's no problem to find an amp that fits in the stock place position. But the place is a little tricky itself, because there are many cables and you don't have a very good possibility to seperate chinch cables from currency and other cables. Sometimes it's not easy to get a noisefree signal (hum, or whistle from the alternator while driving).
